OPEN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees the planning and development of all CHCS events.
Coordinates at least 1 monthly event in addition to larger special events (balls, etc.) & quarterly Golden Scissors events.
Maintains an event details & copy document.
Ensures all event details & copy are set at least 2 months prior to each event to provide timely notice to CHCS members.
Works with Marketing Director to produce event graphics/social posts.
Works with the Vice President & Administrative Director to ensure the website/Google calendars are up-to-date with events.
Events Committee - Makes sure Discord events, Discord channels, and Facebook events for all CHCS events are assigned to point person for event.
Develops a Kofi ticket sale page for applicable events.
Serves as main point of contact for all event questions.
Maintains a running list of future event ideas & member suggestions, and pitches event ideas to the Board for feedback.
Gathers event feedback and writes/files post-event reports that include said feedback.
Delegates responsibilities for event planning/management to the President and Event Committee
Develops and maintains relationships with event vendors (venues, caterers, photographers, etc.)
Works with the Marketing and Education Director to share relevant non-CHCS Chicago-area events with members.
Works with the Administrative Director to ensure all event payments are made promptly.
Proposes ways for CHCS to improve member experience, ensure diversity of programming, accessibility, etc.

Helps plan and execute amazing CHCS events.
Executes event needs as delegated by the Director of Programming or President.
Gathers event ideas and feedback from CHCS members and shares the feedback with the Programming Director.
Chair will work with Programming Directory to develop the surveys, events committee to set up procedure to distribute and monitor feedback and share with Board as needed.
Evergreen survey that goes out to all event ticket holders after each event.
Consists of members that are eager to volunteer in various capacities to assist with club operations, events, etc.
Delegates event functions as needed.
Assistance could range from checking in guests or working coat check at events to picking up food, creating a photo backdrop, arranging a carpool, etc.
